In the EU-HORIZON Project RoboCons, Tim Niewalda is working on the human-centered design and evaluation of robotic assistance systems for use on construction sites. His focus is on researching requirements, trust, and safety in the cooperation between humans and robots in complex working environments.
In the ZEN-MRI research project, Tim Niewalda is investigating the interaction of visually impaired people with coexisting robots in public spaces. The aim of his work is to identify the requirements and needs of this user group and to incorporate them into the development of inclusive and safe interaction concepts.
